PROGRAM

COACHiNG

We believe that with the right knowledge and an opportunity to objectively assess and reflect on our actions and choices, each of us has the innate capacity to grow and excel in our work. Our coaching process involves playing a co-active role designed to assist the learner in discovering within themselves more effective behaviors and choices to achieve better results.

STEPPING UP TEAM COACHING

Stepping Up Team Coaching is designed around the core concepts and ideas in the book and course Stepping Up: How Taking Responsibility Changes Everything, by Dr. John Izzo, and is an extension of the  Stepping Up for Change program. While generally team focused this approach can be very effective with individuals.

LEADERSHIP COACHING  FOR INDIVIDUALS

Leadership Coaching for Individuals places a strong emphasis on the learner strengthening interpersonal and relationship skills with team members and teams as a whole.

Coaching Process

  • When the coaching is sponsored by an organization for a specific purpose, we work with you (with the involvement of the coachee) to identify, one or two goals to be added to those that the coachee decides upon. The organization can then establish methods to monitor progress on those specific goals.
  • Once underway the coaching process is completely confidential. While it is recommended that the coachee and the coachee's manager meet occasionally to discuss how the process is going for the coachee, the coach will not share any information about the content of conversations. The general coaching time frame is three to six months on either a weekly or twice monthly basis. The coach will be available at any time between sessions to support the coachee through additional conversations.

The Program includes:

  • An introductory conversation between the coachee and coach to introduce the process and review pre-coaching worksheets (by phone or in person).
  • An intake session to establish the roles and responsibilities of coach and coachee, develop specific coaching goals, and establish the timing of sessions (in person).
  • When the coaching process has been sponsored by an organization, an additional goal/objective can be set by the sponsor in collaboration with the coachee.
  • Weekly, twice monthly, or monthly sessions (by phone or in person).
  • Review of progress every six sessions to determine if changes are required to goals, or process.
